Top 5 Security Predictions for 2013 from Symantec

I have another one: Symantic/Norton and McAfee will still suck on the desktop. :D

I think after most of things or converting on the digital technology and also the use of internet and other networks to handle these devices create more disturbance.Because if someone hack your network he can do anything what he want by using your devices. That is a threat for your security.

All true. I have the dumbest cell phone I can get. It makes and receives telephone calls, as well as messages. The only messages are from my provider saying they are taking money from my account. I keep close track of my accounts.

As to the cloud, I really dislike the concept. There are no standards. All that does is reduce the number of targets the bad guys have to compromise. Also, how do you get your data back if you decide to move it? If you don't know, you will likely be told you can have it back at about two years worth payments. Naw, I just don't like it, and more for security than anything else.

And how do you know the bad guys are not already a member of the Cloud ;)
