Good technique. Thanks for sharing. IMO, the following 3 cases may happen.

You pull, your opponent:

1. resists, you borrow his resisting force, take him down backward (shown in your video),
2. yields, you borrow his yielding force, take him down forward,
3. borrows your pulling force, grabs your right leg, and ...
