Smile. no worries. i didn't think you intended it sincerely, I don't think i 've mentioned this before.

for me, giving up sarcasm/ridicule as a 'knee-jerk' reply to other people continues to be a hard slog.
and the nastiness turns out to be mostly wasted.
it turns into one more entry in the verbal arms race of accelerating ugliness.

we are racing to make ourselves ever more hard and callous, to no useful purpose and to great harm.
i just don't want to make myself that way anymore.

Granted that sarcasm goes right over the heads of most people (even in spoken form inclusive the mimic and facial expression)
It's a wasted effort at the best of times.
