If some one makes a claim..

Wouldn't most people want to "see" the "real"
To understand why they should buy a book ?

The book is intended to help people who are interested to go in the right direction. At the end is just a book. Without a certain martial experience and inteligence many will not understand it. Who thinks that the subjects covered are not interesting for him, he should not but the book. However, IMHO, many will understand it only after few years after reading it.

I believe your book ask for $30. Most of the DVD can ask for $45 or even more.

Could be. But the book can cover maybe more topics than a video. Let say the a book is a more traditional way.
It is not cheap. However Amazon takes 2/3 of the price. But IMHO the informations inside justify the price of the book compared to other books.

1) Given that Wang Fengming teaches the Chen style, I doubt his book is better.
2) Cheng Man Ching is one of the last teachers that taught fighting. But he never taught that in public.
3) However, my jurnery last all my life in in learn whatever I can. So I will also get the Wang Fengming's book to see what is about. My IMA & Tai Chi book collection has probably more than 1000 titles

I've been doing tai chi for a while and I have looked around at a great number of masters and different styles of tai chi. As a result I no longer believe Tai chi is "lost" or "difficult to learn". I have, however, met a large number of people that think exactly like you do about other styles of Tai Chi. You should not be so closed minded as to believe such things like "CMC was one of the last teachers that taught fighting".

I have also had the opportunity to experience that most of the time, people will "fit" a certain master or style moreso than someone else. If you find a master you get along with it is often more valuable than learning from a "better" master that you do not get along with very well. Try to have a more open mind, there is a wild and beautiful world of Tai Chi waiting for everyone
