@Chris Parker[/B], Ah you have chosen cult TV as your weapon, haha, well, bring it Yes, they did a brand new Red Dwarf just there for Easter, hmm, it was, well, ok I guess. Just ok though. Well, here is one from you neck of the woods was my fav afterschool show. Oh wow Ada Nicodemou played Katerina and was my absolute heroine when I was an obnoxious teen. A role model indeed And I was totally over the moon when I saw her as the white-rabbit inked girl in The Matrix Believe she was in Home and Away too, but I am never home to see it. Go on, tell me you watched this too? Who was your fav? Rivers was a badass too Can you guess what it is without looking?
@Xue Sheng, nope I am not a huge fan of them neither. Tequila? Meh. I have no vices. I am viceless, pffft. I like cute doggies though so here is something that might put a smile on you (I am not sure how difficult a thing that is ) Still, you will not fault me for trying mister I hope you are calm. Calmer? Smile for me, yes? The superduper Super Furry Animals

Do you see what I see?
Truth is an offense
You silence for your confidence
Do you hear what I hear?
Doors are slamming shut
Limit your imagination, keep you where they must
Do you feel what I feel?
Bittering distress
Who decides what you express?
Do you take what I take?
Endurance is the word
Moving back instead of forward seems to me absurd
Doesn't matter what you see?
Or into it what you read?
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception
Do you fear what I fear?
Living properly
Truths to you are lies to me
Do you choose what I choose?
More alternatives
Energy derives from both the plus and negative
Do you need what I need?
Boundaries overthrown
Look inside to each his own
Do you trust what I trust?
Me, myself, and I
Penetrate the smokescreen I see through the selfish lie
Dosn't matter what you see?
Or into it what you read?
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom with their exception
Do you know what I know?
Your money and your wealth
Your silence just to hear yourself
Do you want what I want?
Desire not a thing
I hunger after independence lengthen freedom's ring
Dosn't matter what you see?
Or into it what you read?
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
Independence limited
Freedom of choice
Is made for you, my friend
Freedom of speech is words that they will bend
Freedom no longer frees you
Doesn't matter what you see
Or into it what you read
You can do it your own way
If it's done just how I say
For Thanksgiving we had 'tatas,
succotash and rudebagas.
Then came turkey from the oven.
Broke the wishbone.
Covenants were sealed and set.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
Christmas Eve we ate at Aunty's.
We had some ham glazed with honey.
Rolled the Yule log on the fire.
Threw the hambone to the dogs and went to bed.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
In the morning the weathercock was heard
asking what he had learned of the Earth.
"Is it a round place with deserts and oceans,
housing as many winds as one might wish?"
We were standing by the gate.
He said, "Oh my, it's getting late!"
Then he took off flying to the south
with a black snake in his mouth.
You can shake it, break it, or glue it whole,
but there's no two ways about it with a broke wishbone
on the losing end.
You can shake it, break it, or glue it whole,
but there's no two ways about it with a broke wishbone
on the losing end.
For St. Patrick's we had cabbage,
corned beef stew, egg salad sandwich.
Then came the whiskey from the basement.
Danced all night into the dawn,
then held our heads.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
On the losing end of a wishbone,
and I won't pretend not to mind.
Oh wow yes what a brilliant sound yes c_c I think though that you are not in there looking for multiply layered depth maybe?? The sound is just lovely though wow.. Thank you fer sharingBroke out an old CD today by one of my fav's...
I forgot how much I enjoyed this song. It is a much deeper song than what it would appear on the surface....really.
Hey J,
Faith No More, absolute favourite, and one of my favourite of their songs as well! Also love "Helpless" from Album of the Year... not lacking in confidence with that title, were the lads? And now they're back and touring again!
But for me, at the moment, I will present you with another collection of words and notes, not commonly known outside of particular circles, yet still favoured by myself. Paul McDermott I have mentioned before does have a pretty turn of phrase at times, this is a song called Stripped, first performed in his comedy group Gud.
Stripped.
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
I have been stripped of a layer of meaning, I
Fell through the floor watched you rise through the ceiling
She's so high, higher than thought can think
A mere sprite, like one of the nubilate
So hold tight, she radiates light from her
Jokes, it's what men prefer
They need the centre of things
The centre of things
I watched them packing up all Sunday morning
The day of the fourth and they fled without warning
It's so bright, the sun almost burns your eyes
A cruel fight, I feel I can sympathise
Famine, it pours over boiling words
It's more than we deserve
Love is a beautiful curse
A beautiful curse
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
She said I'm stained like a girl from the bowery
I pay my respects to her hourly
I'm just so clumsy and circumspect
I never know what it meant
Perhaps it was heaven sent
She's so high, this kitten on gasoline
And codeine, fuelled by her medicine
She lies back. "Handsome." she says again,
"You've always been my friend."
Lord it's the loveliest day
The loveliest day
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
I have been stripped of a layer of meaning, I
Fell through the floor watched you fly through the ceiling
And I find, you're finer than porcelain
Or bromine on silver gelatine
In blue sky, she's carried by seraphim
Aptly named valium
Into the arms of the night
The arms of the night
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
Ba di da di da di da da da
Ba di da di da di da di da da da dum
For your edification, the song performed:
