Retired Trooper left holding the bag (of evidence): A Michigan State Trooper, SERGEANT CHARLES COLEMAN, spent many years Saving, Serving and Protecting the People of his great state. He deserves to live out a peaceful and fun retirement don't you think? After all, this HERO survived the job! Well, we all know "A Policeman can remove his badge from his chest but never from his soul" ... and good thing because the Sarge here still has what it takes to nab the bad guys ... albeit this Dumbass made it easy ...

So our Brother of Blue was outside in front yard grabbing the newspaper at a little after 0600 (uh, boss, you are retired now ... sleep in!!) .. when he noticed a neighbors van door open. Sgt. Coleman goes over to question this knucklehead who was near the vehicle and dude immediately tries to bolt but the Sarge, who still has the moves, was quick to grab onto the backpack this fool had on. The suspect flees on foot, the Sergeant phones the Police and the suspected burglar was arrested within the hour.

Seems this DUMB *** left his probation papers (complete with his name and address) inside the backpack (along with some stolen items). Dequandre Shaguell "the Dullard" Dillard, 17, charged with illegal entry of building and vehicle (oh, and probation violation).

WAY TO GO SERGEANT COLEMAN!!! Good looking out for your neighbors!! ONCE BLUE, ALWAYS BLUE!!
