Oh we weren’t actually arguing. Just talking. It’s my fault for giving impassioned speeches about dogs. I didn’t mean to make it political. For the record I respect @Gyakuto, and his opinion very much. Back to puppies and kitties for protection!
Here's a picture of me and one of the goodest dogs I knew, when I was a teenager. Not my pit, a friends, but I was one of his favorite humans. Not a mean bone in his body, and never bit me.
Here are two pictures of my current dog. Not a threat to anyone, can't even walk. And weighs under 10 pounds. Also a good boy, but he bites constantly (never hard). Only bites me and my wife though, knows not to bite anyone else.

Oh absolutely. Only time he's not happy is when we leave, or if we take away something he found to eat on the floor/grass. But I've been around a lot of dogs, old and young, and he is definitely the most consistently joyful dog I've met.

He was a working farm dog and very much the master of the pasture and fierce protector of chickens. Very friendly with people except when guarding my grandfathers pickup.

Hey I just noticed something in the math here that maybe you can help a dullard like myself understand. It says 6 deaths in 2023. Next panel says 22% were by xl bully. How do they get 22% of 6? 1.3 deaths?
That makes sense. That's a workin' dogs strength
Thankfully, I’ve just heard on the news that XL Bully’s will not be euthanised when they are added to the list of dangerous dogs in the U.K. Instead the owners will need to be registered and the dogs will have to wear a muzzle in public (good luck enforcing that little rule
