Preview Clip of Budo The Art of Killing!

It seems that it takes some time just to demonstrate their version of seppuku.
I'm not so sure how much that has to do with Budo.

The other bits toward the end seem interesting.

Brian,

I have this film on DVD. It's a must-have for the martial arts library. I'll have view it again over the Holidays.

from what I know of the samurai practice of sepeku/harikiri it is basically accurate.. though the cuts by the sepiku/harikiri is normalcy allowed to be completed.

you can find it for sale on amazon or around the web. I would recommend everyone to buy the DVD as it is a very good one.

Yes this is one great docrumentary and very accurate from everyhting I have seen.

It looks very informative. Anyone know where you can pick up a copy?

Good documentary. I recorded it off Cinemax many years ago and recently picked it up on DVD. Originally, it was simply called "Budo." The distributor’s addition of "The Art of Killing" is, in my opinion, in poor taste.

I have seen the documentary, and I love it. It's very informative. One part I find very interesting is when they show the sword being made.
