Post-training Cuppa VS. Post-training Beer

This is a no brainer as Im an aussie. We have a beer after anything. As a matter of fact I may go and celebrate this post with a cold one :)

Beer...although to be honest it's probably not the best idea to be putting alcohol in your body right after a workout. Not saying I've never done it, most of the adult class used to have one or two after every Judo practice...but that doesn't mean it was smart :p.

I forgive you because you are Australian and therefore cannot fully appreciate the sacrilege you commit, Cy .

"Cuppa" means cup of tea in the true English language :).

Well, We say Cuppa to depict a Cuppa Coffee :D
You crazy Brits, and Your... Um... Cuppas of Tea!

ahh water then tea usually, but beer once in a while once I get home. but not very often. water at the dojo and tea or coffee at home most nights.

1 x Carton of Tomato Juice, or very occasionally a pint of Guinness. Never tea or coffee, as I'm a very warm person and my core stays hot for about 3 hours after training. Hot drinks = yet more sweating.

I don't think I have ever drank a coppa either tea or coffee after a workout.

Doesn't matter what you have afterwards, this is where the bonding of the new students and the seniors take place. This is where sensei is a buddy, this is where these people become like family to you.

Ive been forcing myself to replace my coffee with green tea. Tea is disgusting.

After training, protein shake or chocolate milk. Once I feel normal-ish again I like a beer sometimes. I don't drink often.

Water, or a carb based recovery drink. Never beer, as it basically undoes all the good work you've just done, and I couldn't drink a hot drink when I'm cooling down.

Coffee looks, smells, and I can only imagine tastes, like diarrhoea.

You don't need to worry about a beer negating your workout. It won't do much for recovery though

Water, a nice cup of tea, perhaps an icy ginger ale. Ahhhh.
