Pierre Guenette what happened in 1997/98?

Hi i am writing this thread in the interest of knowing what happened to the former (ITF) champion during his K-1 bout. Since i live in Malaysia i could not get materials encompassing this tournament readily. From what i heard , he got his butt whooped pretty hard!.So i do hope to hear stories from u guys.Cheers
