I thought I knew a fair bit about the natural processes that go on around our planet in the various environments but the time lapse film of this 'brinicle' was very startling to me and was something I'd not come across before:

Startling to me as well...wow...

The Frozen Planet series is absolutely brilliant, going to have to buy the boxed set to go with the other series. It's something worth keeping and watching many times especially if you think everything is going to hell in a handcart! the sheer miracles in the natural world are breathtaking and humbling. The film makers rightly deserve all the awards they get for these films.
