Actually, it kind of snowballed. I contacted the newspaper to suggest a young teenage lady for the "Student Athlete of the Week." She is very deserving and I wanted her recognized and I wouldn't mind the added exposure for my class.
The paper came to do the story on the teenager, then said they were going to do one on me and the class while they were there.
The way the story is presented is nothing but positive and they are going to give the girl a full page picture and story in 2 weeks.
