Interesting article I picked up from yahoo about how researchers are hooking up monkeys to computers linked to robotic arms and the monkeys are actually moving the arms with their thoughts.

Said researchers that they found that it could be useful for those who are paraylized. It's interesting concept.

Wow- this sounds pretty neat. My father-in-law could benefit from something like this- he is partially paralyzed. I don't understand how they figure stuff like this out- very interesting.

Yes. They can. Sort of.

I have to dig up the article, but I saw them doing this with a Human (the mechanical arm thing) on the discovery channel 6-10 months ago... I found the article online and read it, the guy also claimed to have implanted his wife and they could "communicate" Via the interface somehow.

Ill post the article if I can find it again.
