Military OutSourcing in Iraq

I don't think it's too surprising. The military is always going through flucuations between "outsource because it's cheaper to hire someone trained than do it in house" and "we're spending too much on contractors, lets do it in house" I think you're going to see that in war time there is a sudden need for trained people in specific skills so sometimes it's easier just to hire someone with those skills.

Some of the issues raised, such as military people leaving for better paying civilian jobs, are consistant and don't have much to do with Iraq or wartime per-se.
