Well as alwyas Brian did a fantastic job with the women and childern self defense class, we had about twenty five people there and they all had fun and learned some great techs.

I finally got to meet 14 Kempo and he is a wonderful person, he will be doing some Basic Sholin Kempo Saturday and Sunday, he also brought another instructor and his name is Wil seems like a great younf man. More to come after Saturday 6 hours of traing...... To be continue

Doggonit, I never get to the fun stuff.:flammad:

Maybe next year Iceman you can come out, at the hotel waiting to pick up Brian and 14 and will to head to the school, for a day of great training.

wish we could have been there this year
happy it went well and I am sure it will grow with each year

I couldn't make it this year, but if things go as planned I'll be living in TX by 2010 and it'll be easier for me to make it. Glad things are going good. :)

We are happy Rich Parson made it over today and is helping out with stick work.

The MartialTalk Southern Meet and Greet was alot of fun! I enjoyed teaching self defense oriented techniques on Friday night with an emphasis on taking care of business and then getting away. 14 Kempo took over Saturday morning and taught his brand of Kempo. (which was very cool) Then I taught in the afternoon and focused on stick and blade work with an emphasis on offensive and defensive striking using angles and moving into 6 count and finally pakal or reverse grip 6 count and some reverse grip finalization techniques. Sunday I started with standing joint manipulation and takedowns and finally moved into IRT combative grappling with a focus on seperating the shoulder with bent arm locks and reverse bent arm locks. Then Bob Rose (14 Kempo) taught more of his unique method of Kempo! All in all it was a great weekend and Terry and his wife Yolanda were as always fantastic hosts!
