Martial Art Schools Near Edwards AFB, CA

I have a friend that is relocating from Offutt AFB, Nebraska to Edwards AFB, California. They are wanting to know if there are any good martial art schools to attend in that area. She is a petite woman, and she needs a system that doesn't require the practitioner to utilize a lot of physical strength--something like Aikido. Any suggestions?

I think Barstow is the closet City to Edwards that has Martial Art Schools

i used to be stationed over there and there realy isnt too many good schools around there, but there are some good ones in LA, best thing for her to do is ask around when she gets there. there is a guy who might still work in the engine shop does Gojurue Karate he is a 6th dagree and he was talking about opening a school but that was about 5 years ago so i realy couldn't say for sure.
