Marketing/advertising question

Wasn't the might Bob's original idea for MT to be like an online magazine, as well as a web forum?
Online Magazine = staff creates content

Online forum = Members create content. I had an online magazine at one time. It was one of the most difficult things for me to do. Within 5 months I was burned out.

Lesson Learned: Have members write content.

Would a youtube channel be easier?

Then people would see it when they see it.
Some podcasters live stream and then post in YouTube. Basically covering all their bases at once.

I listen to these turkeys pretty regularly, usually in podcast form but occasionally in YouTube.

Writing content isn’t too bad. But coming up with creative ideas for new content can be a grind. That’s where newsie type podcasts have the read staying power.

Agreed. After the initial topics run dry, the new stuff becomes difficult to come up with. If I could do it again, I would have taught 3D rendering art and the questions from my classes would be the content I write about.

For martial arts I would do the same and use question from students to create content. Most of the time student questions led to other topics and teachable moments that would lead to other good discussions. Youtube live broadcasts often do this as the address viewers' questions during the live feed.

But like you say that creativity part is a real effort especially people who are straight to the point.
