Many people think MMA doesn't carry the discipline, the gravitas and the 'ethics' of the more traditional styles. I hope this may help change some minds, it's the story, so far, of a lad who was a tearaway heading for big time trouble in a place where there are few jobs, a lot of poverty and a high rate of teenage suicide. He's turned his life around with help and the future is bright for him and the others that train at the club. Richard the coach is a brilliant man, does so much for the kids and turns out very good fighters.

Great story of courage and commitment. To me this is what Martial Arts is all about, getting help and in turn helping other to experience your victories. It is ironic that fighting was one of the pit falls that got him into prison, and it was fighting that changed his attitude after prison. Brother, military, and caring people made for a very good recipe for a very unique turn around.........:asian:
