Fixed my lawn tractor, ir was the starter. The bendix had snapped right off the starter, I can mow my lawn in one day again :)

for those that don't know, the bendix is the gear on the starter, and this is the correct starter

You know, I was wondering about this very thing.

I am guessing that is off of a Kohler engine?
 
Yup, which was a lot easier to replace than off of a Honda, Jeep, Buick, Chevy, Chrysler, Cadillac, Toyota, Datsun, etc. engine
We have two Husqvarna zero turns at the farm. Both have had the starters replace a couple of times. Crappy units that get weak and will not turn the engine over.
 
I got 2 bottle cutters.
one the little mechanical gadget. with a regular glass cutter,
The other a wet saw.

Now I have no more excuse to not recycle my bottles

I’ll bite. Why do you have to cut them up? If for compaction why not crush them with a hammer?
