Was busy for most of the day, then my work all just disappeared around an hour and a half ago, and no one knew has come in for me. Hate this boredom.

you need to learn to enjoy the art of doing nothing.
Of course, it's easier at home than at work, where they expect you to look busy.

Don't sweat it brother, you're going to rock it no matter what.
Thanks. I'm just not a fan of how this project has gone, at any point. Most stressful trip I've ever gone on, bar none. We had this structured around my partner's approach, as he'd be lead on this.

But yeah, I got this.

I've never been very good at handling those kinds of lulls, except where I'm around people with similar lulls and good conversation.

Let's just hope thay the train is not stopped today by someone hiding under a freight train. We sat on the train for over 2 hours yesterday waiting for the police to get the guy off the tracks. Left for work at 6am and got home after 7pm.

Oh, I don't know... I have trouble doing nothing. @gpseymour keeps telling me I should learn, but I can't seem to grasp this particular skill. I usually bring something to do even when I go to a spa. For example, this past weekend, I was at the Ritz Carlton spa quiet room drawing illustrations for my new book.

Today the network at work crashed... Nothing done, next week will be fun...
When this happens, we usually tell everyone to relax, go clean their offices, sort through their e-mails, etc. Because, like you said, the week after is usually hell to pay.

Holy cow... Was he reenacting Anna Karenina?

Thats part of the issue. At my old job i was fine with it, but i also had my own office. Now I am 'stationed' right next to the busiest people, who are on the move nonstop. The environment changes it a lot.

Thread is almost over

One for all my homies in this thread.

Published four more pieces. In truth, I was just hiding from Dostoyevsky.
With a name as difficult to pronounce as that I'd hide too
Funny though. There's a quote about him...
"Dostoevsky, the only psychologist from whom I've anything to learn." - fredrick Nietzsche

I know, I know, we can't very well just say 'Well, run him over it serves him right." Even though we should and it does.

But at the very least everyone on the train should be allowed to line up and slap the crap out of him until he moves.
