I shudder to think what our grass will look like by the time we can cut it. It's been raining for a week, and it looks like it's going to rain for another week. By the time it's done, we are going to have a rainforest in the front yard.

You know, it's weird, but I am not into kitchen equipment all that much. Growing up, all you needed to cook was a knife, a pan, some water, and fire. So... I am pretty primitive in that sense. But thank you for the recommendation!

its not kitchen equipment in the way I think you mean.

Sous vide is a technique, not a tool. It’s a different way to cook. It’s like frying, grilling, or sautéing. Not like buying a gadget.

What I really like it for is chicken and steak.

Cooked pork spare ribs with the Sous Vide for the first time yesterday.

Dry Rub then 155 degrees for 30 hours.. removed them...brushed on a thinned barbecue sauce and put in oven @ 350 for 12 minutes.

Turned out great!
