Only took me 5.5 hours to cut the grass today..... that is what happens when you can't get the lawn mowed for 2.5 weeks.

Well, Mrs Xue is being rather contrary and I think trying to pick a fight...so with that.....good night MT.....I'm going to bed to avoid the whole thing

I shudder to think what our grass will look like by the time we can cut it. It's been raining for a week, and it looks like it's going to rain for another week. By the time it's done, we are going to have a rainforest in the front yard.

You know, it's weird, but I am not into kitchen equipment all that much. Growing up, all you needed to cook was a knife, a pan, some water, and fire. So... I am pretty primitive in that sense. But thank you for the recommendation! :)
its not kitchen equipment in the way I think you mean.

Sous vide is a technique, not a tool. It’s a different way to cook. It’s like frying, grilling, or sautéing. Not like buying a gadget.

What I really like it for is chicken and steak.

One of our many step-brothers made a bacon-wrapped pineapple stuffed with pork loin yesterday. It's a think of beauty. Unfortunately, you can't download a serving from Facebook. :(

@Steve

Cooked pork spare ribs with the Sous Vide for the first time yesterday.

Dry Rub then 155 degrees for 30 hours.. removed them...brushed on a thinned barbecue sauce and put in oven @ 350 for 12 minutes.

Turned out great!

I'm thinking my day might be better if I were wearing an American flag costume and walking down a street in Palestine, Iran or Afghanistan..... now with that said....time to forget about the entire mess

Went to the zoo with a coupe of the grandkids this morning. Their favorite thing? The snail I picked up out of a puddle on the sidewalk.

I just have to say that when I first read this, my mind changed your intro to, "Went to the zoo to see a couple of the grandkids this morning." Entirely different story.
