Intersting morning...either this is a new ocular migraine cue or a detached retina beginning in my good eye.....
My wife gets those (the ocular migraine cue... not the detached retina). She says it's like a lightning bolt that goes across her eye. Sounds really unpleasant.

Stuck doing mine and my boss' work while she's away for the week. Yesterday I tried doing both, and that did not work out well. Today I made a conscious decision to only do her work (besides physically meeting with my clients)...finished in 5 hours, and have the last 3 hours for myself :)

I think it was a migraine, and apparently the ocular clues have changes wince the cataract surgery. This one was entirely new and does to some extent mimic the early stage of a retinal detachment. Which it still may be, if it does not reappear or get worse in the next couple weeks I am likely ok. If not... well then the good eye gets worked on and hopefully does not end up like the bad eye.... that could be career ending

yeah, that's what she said. She's a certified optician, among other things, and knows too much about the eyeball. As a result, when she had this migraine symptom, she immediately thought it was a torn or scratched retina.

I, to be clear, know nothing about migraines or eyeballs, and so I may be relating this incorrectly. I just know I had to take a few hours off work to take her to see the optometrist.

Hope you're feeling better.

A statement I never thought I'd make: "I hope it's just a migraine."

I said the same thing this morning talking to two other people I know who have migraines much more sever than I do..... I have never been so happy having a migraine

No repeats of the visual stuff yet, hopefully that is all it was

After two cataract surgeries and two retinal reattachment procedures.... I have gotten to know a few Eye specialist by their first name. If I get that visual issue again I will call the retina guy and I will be in that day.

I hope everything is ok with your wife.

You want to know what "busy" is? Buying a guitar effects pedal a week ago and then not even having the time to find your guitar cables to hook it up and test it out! LOL

Without fail, this is the time of day that ALWAYS slows to a crawl, no matter how fast the morning flew by.

last week sucked, this week blows....
I am so glad I am off tomorrow (downside, I'm working the weekend)

Happy November everyone. Happy Holiday season. :)
