for the second time in the last year at work..
THIS happened yesterday...

Me: Okay Sir, I have your payment amount
confirmed at $xxxx.00 - correct?
Customer: Yes
Me: Type of Credit card? --> (fire alarm goes off),
I'm terribly sorry Sir - our fire alarm has gone off
and I have to exit the building - I'm going to need
you to call back in a little while - I have to disconnect
Customer: Okay, but first can you..

Really..???

I can't make this up!!
Sometimes people's empathy circuits are just fried. SMH

Good luck!
I had 6 people in line for 4 weeny dog puppies.
all jumped off.
I finally found 2 to take one.
and still got 2 more at the house, 6 months later.

Yours don't look like small dogs though...

No

1/4 Cane Corso Mastiff and 3/4 Labrador

Mom is a Cane Corso Mastador and the dad is a chocolate lab

Second class went good, although I still ran over my time limit by about 10 minutes. Luckily, no one else needed the room after me.

The structure of Class 2 was:

1) Warm-up
2) Stretch
3) Practice chain punching in basic stance
4) Practice 3 blocks - pak sao, gan sao, biu sao
5) Give them a taste of something slightly more advanced by punching with a shift.
6) Explain and demonstrate first form.
7) Teach them section 1 of the form. Go around and correct. If they get it, then move on.
8) Show how each technique in the form could be used in self-defense.
9) Go through Q&A, as well as some "what if..." scenarios that I came up with.

My mistake was adding in the shift AND trying to give them more than one section of the form to go home with. Going forward, I think I should do the punches and blocks in the basic stance. I should still demonstrate the whole form. However, as far as homework to give them, I should do only section 1...unless someone catches on THAT fast where they can handle more. Even if they do, I should still hold off and show that person outside of the 2 hour class.

This should be fun.

I am dealing with an ear issues that intermittently seems to mess with my balance. I have discovered if I focus on something directly in front of me and walk towards it I have no problem at all walking straight.
If I turn my head fast or move to fast I could easily be mistaken for being inebriated as I stagger around to get my balance
Its time for lunch,
I forgot to bring my lunch in today,
I have to walk outside to get my lunch.

This will be interesting

Follow somebody. Stare at the back of their head the whole time. It won't look suspicious, at all.

What's weird, I have something similar going on with my left ear. I can't really describe it but, whenever I do jumping jacks or any kind of exercise that involves me leaving and landing back on the ground, I have this weird sensation...like something is "bouncing around" in my ear. It doesn't hurt, and it doesn't make me stagger like you describe, but it doesn't feel normal either.

Mrs Xue found something I just had to try
