Knee pain suggestions.

Now this is interesting albeit counterintuitive. Adding resistance training might be the fastest way to restore function and improve quality of life for people struggling with knee pain and osteoarthritis!

It is fleeting you Really stay with it, and it seems you have to gradually increase. In a nutshell, it keeps the surfaces worn off and smooth. In no way does it promote cartilage health.
Ask me how I know.

I been working on my roundhouse kicks a lot lately, and other kicks as well. And my knees ache. I looked at the anatomy of the knee pinned thread for advice but the page it has linked there is no longer available.

I mean I could go to the doctor but they are just going order and x-ray and that takes awhile. I will still do it to be safe but I'm wondering if there is anything you guys do for knee pain and treatment.
They are likely going to want an MRI. And go to a Orthopedic Doctor and find out what to do. Asking a bunch of faceless nameless people on a martial arts site is not exactly what I would consider good medical advice. And I have had 2 meniscus repairs and one total knee replacement

If you keep kicking into the thin air, soon or later you will have knee problem. But if you only train punch without training kick, you will not develop your single leg balance that you will need through your old age. So, what's the solution here?

Instead of kicking out, you can pull your kick back. This way, you will not add any pressure on your knee joint. The hook kick can be a good example.
