Would love to grow my own rattan but unfortunately I'm not sure if it would grow as well as it should with us being in Las Vegas. Still my supplier is great and I am very happy with them and look forward to doing business with them for a long time. I buy in bulk and they really accommodate my pickiness.

So long as you give it plenty of water and fertilize it I suspect it would go crazy, if it's anything like bamboo. Nice thing about your climate is you wouldn't have to worry about it becoming invasive. Could save you a bundle on supplier and shipping fees.

Okay so a little googling tells me it's actually a type of palm. So nothing like bamboo. However it prefers Sandy Soils and hot climate. So long as you water twice a day, should do fine.
