Years ago, I broke my right foot two separate times on my same buddies left shin bone. I just recovered from a torn retinaculum in my left hand that I acquired 10 weeks ago. My wife says I don’t have any self preservation skills, but she has only known me for 17 years. I’m so much better at keeping myself safe than I was 20 years ago, and worlds apart from the immortal I imagined myself to be 35 years ago.
