I wish we had a thread addressing the candidates' respective plans for health care, education, deficit reduction, employment--you know, actual issues, rather than their military service and religious beliefs. (Dream on, you say???)

-- The individual in question used political influence to get into a position that would guarantee not going overseas
-- The individual in question skipped out on even that commitment

-- The individual in question attacks his opponents' military records as a regular part of his election strategy.
