REPORT: TAXPAYER FUNDS FOR LA RAZA ‘SKYROCKET’ AFTER LEADER SECURES WHITE HOUSE JOB

The progressive politically-connected National Council of La Raza has been a staple (illegal) immigration advocacy group on the left and has long benefited from the generous support of government financial grants. But according to an investigation by Judicial Watch, federal funding of the group “skyrocketed” shortly after one of its top officials got a job in the Obama White House.

Cecilia Munoz, La Raza’s senior vice president and lobbyist, joined the Obama administration as director of intergovernmental affairs in 2009. Since then, Judicial Watch reports, federal funding being poured into the organization has more than doubled:

Is there a back-story to the funding increase? For example, making up a previous shortfall? Or is it a politician directing public money to a favoured project? That does happen all the time after all.

I looked at some other stories on that site and they don't fill me with confidence about the 'news' content:

Why should someone be arrested for this? It's not an assault - at best it's a nuisance. Politico's should be happy that the days of rotten eggs and tomatoes seem to have been left behind.

The comments under this video say much more about the people making the comments than it does about the TV channel. Scary. maybe they would be happier in Iran ... that's a theocratic state after all.

This one is pure Alex Jones territory - he's still one of my very favourite conspiratorial ranters mind you.

Are sites like this one the bread-and-butter sources of information for Conservative thinkers? If so, with such a 'diet' I'm not surprised at the strength of feeling and views that sometimes peek through here at MT.

I do think that people have to be a bit careful about what they ingest from news vendors of all media types - too much of one sort leads to a lob-sided view of things on occasion.

I'm not familiar with TheBlaze, but the LaRaza group's a major advocate of illegals, and some of their actions in my opinion border on terrorism. I don't think tax payer funding should be going to any group that advocates illegal activity.

it doesnt matter if you think it is crazy, IF YOU CANT PROVE IT WRONG, then it just might be right, and crazy or not, you OUGHT TO KNOW
