Help with strengthening hands and wrists.

You can also use the bottom three knuckle for pushups. Use whatever your martial art uses for the punch. I use the first two, but in JKD and other martial arts they punch with the bottom three knuckles.

hmm really? interesting as the metacarpals for the bottom three knuckles are smaller and less able to take the impact then the first two. with training you can build the bone density but still .. ( ex EMT here and so the anatomy choice is interesting in that it seems less then optimal.)

Also, forgot to mention earlier that when doing the "towel curls," make sure to keep your wrist straight. If you can't keep it straight, use a lighter weight until you build up.
oh ok. i was just going to ask about the wrist. i hav weights of sand that starp on to the wrists and ankles and it works very well with towel wrapped through it. Thank you again i've been experimenting with this.
