I'm looking to buy a pair of grappling gloves but I am dissapointed at the variety on offer at the local shops.
I have been looking on Ebay and have found heaps on offer, my problem is I dont know what is quaility and what isn't and I also dont really know what I am needing.
Should I be looking for open palmed gloves to reduce heat build up or should I be looking for closed in gloves, what about joint flexibility are the thickly padded gloves still allowing full hand movement or do they restrict you.
I am only looking to spend about $50 AUS.
I plan on using the gloves for training outside the dojo with mates and we want to basically have controlled fights, that is start stand up and see where it goes, maybe throws/takedowns, shooting in, submissions, whatever presents really so I would like full hand control for gripping and a little bit of padding for my knuckles and his face.
The only gloves that I have used are Wraptors by Warrior so any and all advice would be appreciated.
