First lady gets resume from girl with jobless dad

WASHINGTON (AP) — Michelle Obama's annual question-and-answer session with the children of Executive Office employees took a serious turn Thursday when a 10-year-old girl in the front row told the first lady that her dad had been out of work for three years. Then the girl popped up to hand the first lady his resume.

Now I call that initiative! Don't know about the dad, but I'd be signing up the daughter.

That is a gutsy move on her part in favor of her dad. Will it work, time will tell. As the saying goes, "you don't know till you ask". When opportunity knocks he, "or she in this case", who hesitates is lost. I hope for a sympathetic hear in this case and that everything works out.
