MACaver, that is almost as bad as "ninja in a can" :p

Well, at least the reader would have the terminology right as someone busts his you know what. Should I admit I have a Horses for Dummies book? Well, I got a better clue about what I was thinking about getting into. And then my friend, also a bb, got on a horse who hadn't been ridden for awhile, bucked her, and she tore a hamstring!!! I don't think she rode for a long time after that! TW

Good point TW as funny as these books may be some of them are informative!

You might be surprised at what you find in these books.

Hi, I'm Georgia and I'm a For-Dummies-Books-aholic.

I have Chess for Dummies - bought it to better my game and help my daughter learn. There is excellent information in that volume and references to specialty books that are definitely high-level chess.

Heck, I might even buy thte Fighting for Dummies!! (frantically pulls up Amazon)

Hey I bought that book so the guy I played chess with wouldn't beat me in like 10 moves anymore. It somewhat helped but he beat me in chess every sticking day for a year and a half.

Am thinking of making one that's "Caving For Dummies"... might be helpful. :D
You BB's in your respective arts should do your own... i.e. Kenpo for Dummies, Wing-Chun for Dummies, Ninjitsu, and so forth... at least when they're published we can all get together for a book signing party eh?

Sure go ahead.

I have pics of us playing the "Winning for Dummies" slot machines in Vegas.

I also have "Homebrewing For Dummies"

Good stuff.

I wanna see the caving one.

But I think I recall seeing a Martial Arts For Dummies book at B&N ....

While I agree that these books offer up front information, I really wonder what the changes were from Version 1 to Version 2. :idunno:
