Pitbulls and Pekiti-Tirsia

Is it because they are traditionally fighting dogs? Becasue of the tenacity or "game" inherent in the genetics; the never stop attitude?
Because of thier breed, I know if my dogs snap, they're going to bite. And if they bite, they are going to fight until it is DONE. Hemi has the staples and vet bills to attest to the fact.
So then, what exactly makes a "Pekiti Tirsia Pitbull"?
