Also, I used to train at a school that was a combination of FMA, JKD, and Muay Thai. Everyone at that school thought I could strike pretty hard. However, I then went to just a JKD school, and found out that my striking had a long way to go, and have since improved greatly. Unfortunately, my instructor has closed up shop, and so I am now in need of a school. I was considering an FMA school, but dont want my striking to diminish. What are your thoughts on this? Has lots of stick work diminished your striking ability? Has it increased it? Any pointers?
