Essential striking for a grappler

This thread has been done many times the other way, looking at people who are striking and the very basic grappling they should learn, but how about the other way around.

Suppose you had a grappler approach you and ask to learn some basic striking to protect himself and get into a clinch or get a shoot, what would you teach them?
 
If the grappler is in a crouch poster & arms streching out to you-grabbing the hair with the left or weeker hand & repeating eye strikes to that simular of the tiger paw for lack of a better word.Now if he is in closer & no time for that -utilise the hair grab & the jugler to direct the attacker to a point of what the internal arts call drain points.If they have you in a clinch the drain point is clavical or back just under neck for drain & they drop like rocks.Hence little effort any of the attacking ways on you part & you are ready to defend from possable multi attackers.
