i just wanted to say that i feel terrible that elmer died. even though i only met him once in the philippines. he was very strong and i could see that he would do great things as a teacher. i am sure his students will not be satisfied easily by any teacher they meet in the future. he was one person i was hoping to meet again and maybe exchange with.

On behalf of Punong Guro Roland Dantes and his students in Australia, I would like to offer our condolences to the wife, family, students of Grandmaster Elmer Ybanez and practitioners of Lightning Scientific worldwide.

Grandmaster Elmer was respected worldwide for his skills, understanding and character. His teachings will continue to be passed onto future generations through his loyal and dedicated students such as , Master Bot Jocano.

Rest in Peace Grandmaster Elmer.

I have never heard of this gentleman, or his system. Was he the founder, and chief exponent? I for one would like to hear more of this man, and his art.
