Is it different than a regular reverse punch?

The cross is an entirely different punch that only shares with the reverse punch the fact that it is a rear hand strike. Many combatives instructors teach it for close quarter's defence - but modify it to using the palm heel as weapon, sparing a possible broken hand or wrist.

As this thread started with my 500th post:

My Apologies to everyone,

I only need this post to obtain my 500th post for Black Belt. This will make me the 18th Black Belt for Martial Talk.

I met Madonna's Dad, we worked at the same company. He was a nice guy. She did nothing for me. I probably was the one of a very small group of guys who were not all into her in the mid 80's.
