Boxing Gym Questions

Okay and what do you think people did before the internet? They turned up and made a decision. You can read all the reviews you want but you’ve got to enjoy it if you’re going to stay. All recommendations are are other people’s opinions just because they think a place is good/bad doesn’t mean you’ll think the same. It’s like if someone leaves a negative movie review that doesn’t mean you won’t like the movie it’s just a random persons opinion
You've made your point, and Tony Dismukes made mine.

The only boxing gym I’ve been to in NYC was Gleason’s, but that was a million years ago.

If it’s still open, it’s as good as it gets for boxing gyms. In my opinion.

It's still there! I assume you mean the famous one in Brooklyn.

Another reason I'm glad I asked for help: I had written Gleason's off because it's a bit out of my way, but it's open at 5 AM so it might work out for me. Also, it's big enough and well-known enough that they have a real variety of trainers there. Thanks for mentioning it, I wouldn't have looked twice otherwise...
