Attention All Kenpo Black Belts

If you are a legitimate Kenpo/Kempo Black Belt you can receive immediate cross ranking in Ju Jitsu.

Please visit USA Self-Defense Centers website for details.

i hope i'm not being rude, but this sounds like something else you would read in a mag.

Send my certificate on it's way then. I want to step in a JJ school with a new BB on and see how I fair with other BB. Gee, I wonder what will happen.

Cool, I may need someone to be with me. Once while attending my friends JJ studio I got my ribs seperated because things just didn't go so well.
Anyways I don't try to out grapple a grappler.

Jason just do as i do, "a man can't hit you if he can't see you"
so a finger spear to the eye works for me.(and it has)

Wow , such a Generous offer !!!!! And there dosent seem to be a price $$$$$ attached ,Now thats cheaper than E-BAY!!!!!!

LOL

cheers

Thanks anyway, but I think I would rather train, work, sweat and test for my ranks, that's what makes them legitimate after all.

Perhaps I should have stated in the original post that we are NOT a diploma mill. We are a legitimate, respected Martial Arts School.

Check out the website for the details, have you guys done this prior to your responses? Have you contacted Hanshi McPeek with questions? He will personally address them for those who are interested.

rmcpeek: on the contrary, offering rank in your art with no training = diploma mill.

Kempo styles vary enormously, so essentially you're offering free rank in your system with no knowledge of their specific abilities. Whether or not they hold legitimate rank, that's a diploma mill in my eyes.

I think you are going to find that people around here are not going to be very receptive to obtaining certificates of rank without actually training in the style and with the instructor giving the rank. I have checked the website, and I will respectfully say that I do not agree with receiving (or giving) rank in a system I have not physically trained in.

hey hanshi,

wrong place to sell rank.

btw, what does having a BB in kenpo have to do w/ JJ? you're kidding :idunno:

My god, this is like the ultimate in a training oportunity.

Look how many instructors they have, there are dozens!
36 senseis here: http://www.usaselfdefensecenters.com/jrblackbelts.html
All with years of experience, serious training, and the wisdom that comes with age I am sure.
57 more senseis here : http://www.usaselfdefensecenters.com/blackbelts.html
and 14 "instructor senseis" here: http://www.usaselfdefensecenters.com/instructors.html

That makes 107 teachers! 2 locations? My god, how many students do they have to have to have 100+ teachers? Is this place training a small army?

They have a mail order program as well: http://www.usaselfdefensecenters.com/distancelearning.html
A sure sign of a quality training center.
(Who wears the black belt? Me, or my VCR?)

Now, heres another question...why is "Hanshi" a 9th in Kenpo, but only a lowly 8th in JJ when rank in 1 = rank in the other?

So, we have a school cross ranking dissimilar arts without requiring a demonstration of knowledge, issuing teaching credentials to rug-rats, with a mail order black belt program. The facilities are nice, but the rest screams belt-mill, and mcdojo.

i can't take this anyomre, i'm going to bed MY HEAD HURTS

Do all the Senseis have cross training in JJ?
