That's why I trust data more than I trust news. I can look at the raw numbers and come to an educated conclusion. As long as I understand the methodology, I can get about as close to bias-free information as it's possible to get.

No longer true. You'll find HR departments are as obnoxious about harmless cracker jokes as they are about harmless black jokes. They're still as utterly useless as ever about stopping actual racism.
