Jammin' was probably my favorite with Redemption Song or One Love as my second pick.

Marley actually lived here in Wilmington for a brief period (see HERE)... and his Mother was a Wilmington resident...

Every year... the riverfront hosts a Bob Marley Festival...

I'll have to think on it more...

No Woman, No Cry-Think he wrote it for his mom. It also shows how cool he was-he gave songwriting credit to a guy who ran a soup kitchen in Trenchtown, where Marley grew up, and the royalty checks kept the soup kitchen going.

Saw him play in Central Park back in 1975, in Jamaica in 1978, and Madison Square Garden in 1980, just a little before he died...miss him, and Peter Tosh...(and, no-I never did smoke ganja-can't really smoke anything. THink I might have gotten a "contact high" at those shows, though. I got the munchies, but was jonesing for leftovers!)

"Bent on Love" by Bob Marley. I don't know if it was an original or a remake, but I love that song. I have a cassette (does anyone remember those?) that I put in whenever I am driving at night. It brings back great memories of the first two years after high school.
