We have a rescue dog, she's the cutest, smelliest Staffordshire bull terrier. She's a stately old lady, with quite the personality. She acts like a human, and her name is Ziggy. :supcool:

I have an 11 month old black Labrador and two cats! Cant have birds or fish, the cats would kill them.

1 dog, a Springer/something-or-other mix named Peco (Spanish for freckle), and two cats: Hanzo and Hannya. The cats tend to go by nicknames now, Hanzo is Fat Kitty, and Hannya is Little One. Hanzo is also the only cat I've ever had that responded to a name or nickname, she even comes running when I sing "her" song (to the tune of BOC's Godzilla):
"Whoa, no, they say she's got to go. Go, go, Fat Kitty"

Had to vote other, on the move to Maine the kids fish became lawn food at a Super 8 in Penn. They are lobbying hard for a dog right now though and looks like I may be out voted on this one because Mom is leaning toward their argument now.

I have an older dog (half black lab and half Irish setter) and a fairly new Papillon puppy- The puppy's about to drive the older dog nuts. Me, too.

Hey Kacey! Beautiful German Shepherd in that pic. Your's too?

Thanks, I'll tell Sheba's person you said so - but no, she's not mine; she and Sable (my mutt) are play buddies. Sheba's about 9 months older than Sable, so it's a lot more even now; when they met, she was nearly that size, and he weighed about 6 pounds. They both came from shelters.

1 dog and 1 cat. Tucker came from a shelter, had parvo when we got him. Great vet and a huge bill later he's healthy as can be. Survivor (the cat) I found in the dead of winter when he was about 3 months old behind a restaurant. He had frost bite on both ears, his paws and mouth. Brought him home, took care of him and wouldn't be with out him. He lost most of both ears and part of his lower lip to the frost bite but kept all of his attitude.

Had 2 cats, but both are gone now...

The first one, Olga, we got from a shelter, and the other, Osku, just decided to move in our house. We were away for some weeks, and a neighbour gave food to Olga who was left behind (she always hated cars, and would stay outside most of time in any case). When we came back there were not one, but two cats who run inside to be fed. The boy was about the same size and almost the same color, so we figured our neighbour had been feeding 2 different cats without knowing it! Our neighbour knew a family where we tried to give the latter cat at first, but it didn't work out and lo! We had two cats.
:)

I'd take new cats at once, but as both my brother and my boyfriend are very allergic to cats... :banghead:
