It brings home a couple very important self defense guidelines.
It brings home a couple very important self defense guidelines.
- Take your stand early. The longer you wait the worse it gets. The earlier you interrupt the plan the less he has invested in finishing it.
- Get the bad guys in a position where they are not sure what to do. Most criminals have some sort of plan. If they can't read from the script they don't know what to do.
- Someone who shows you a weapon isn't usually going to kill you right at that moment. Maybe he will two seconds from now. But right at the moment he's trying to instill fear.
- Never ever no way no how not on your freaking life allow yourself to be taken to a secondary crime scene. If someone's going to kill you make him do it out in front of G-d and the neighbors. You can't improve your situation by giving him the time and privacy he wants to get creative with the duct tape and pliers and blowtorch. (That's one of the very few iron rules we have for self defense)
