01-11-2010 09:55 AM:Tom Lawlor is carving out a nice niche as the UFC's clown prince. And it helps that he's emerged as a surprising prospect inside the Octagon. At the Ultimate Fight Night 20 weigh-in, Lawlor emerged wearing a mullet wig and sunglasses. Then once on stage he did a crazy tumble before ripping off his sunglasses and gesturing and pointing at UFC colo analyst Joe Rogan, who was on stage announcing the fighters.
The crowd responded with a hearty laugh but who knows if they really got the joke. Lawlor said that get up and tumble was a tribute to one of the UFC's original warriors, the quirky Harold Howard.
