Now that is uplifting :tup:.

I have to admit that, whilst admiring the young man in question, my cycnical side was on the track of "Yeah, right - way to go media, trivialising and propogandising an outstanding persons achievement".

Then the part came with the 4 year old he was helping to learn 'tricks' in a wheelchair and that little kids giggles broke me with the joy in them.

To have the strength to rise above ones affections is heart warming, but, to extend that triumph on to others is hope inspiring, indeed. Thank you so much for sharing.
 
I like to think that we all have it within us to tap that level of courage and drive. Most of us either don't know where to find it, or have never needed to.

That, or we show it every day and don't recognize it within ourselves.
