I don't think it's the ratings numbers so much as the same reason the Right has a dislike for MSNBC, CNN, ABC, NBC, and CBS. Yes, market competition will inspire Fox News' competitors to get their little gibes in at FNC's expense to stoke their base viewers emotions from time to time.
 
A little perspective ...

... the BBC F1 coverage gets six million viewers from a population of about a fifth of America's.

Partisan political punditry does noone any favours and, whilst such low viewing figures are in part due to voter apathy, maybe it also shows that most people have got more sense than listen to such drivel.
 
I try not to watch any of it. It makes little Tiny Jesus cry in his golden fleece diapers with his tiny, little fat balled up fists.
 
You guy's have a way of putting everything back into prospective. Just to statistical over here. Back to the good old MA sites for me.
