Who Inspired you?

In jr. high, it was the bullies. I also started reading Kick Illustrated, so I s'pose Ernie Reyes & Stephen Hayes. When I started TKD my sophomore year in high school, it became my instructors & Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris
Sonny Chiba
Bruce Lee
Jackie Chan
Michael Dudikoff (^_^)
Sho Kosugi
Stephan Hayes (past tense)
Also, the entire cast of "Big Trouble In Little China". I love that movie!

These days, I'm inspired by guys like Carl Cestari, Jeff Cooper, Gene Lebell, Ray Schardijn. Old guys that stand the test of time. I would like to end up one of these.

Apparently Doc and I grew up together :).
Um yeah, ditto on that list.
Add in Bill Wallace, and Benny Urquidez.

A guy my father worked with gave him a box of books. Amidst the westerns and sci-fi novels was a battered copy of karate-do kyohan. I was hooked.

Shortly thereafter, my brother came home on leave from the Coast Guard. He had been training at a Villari school in Baltimore and he promptly talked my dad into putting me into Karate. So I guess I'd have to say my Brother.

and of course, Chuck Norris.
