What do dragons like to eat?

Well BigDon I wasn't aware that there was a MA film called The Last Dragon, I only knew of the Discovery Channel documentary about it.
Yours was obviously a deprived childhood. To miss out on Berry Gordy's The Last Dragon, wow.
Netflix has it.

Most stories I've read have dragons liking pretty sparklies...and eating lots of meat. But i think that would quickly deplete the immediate area. I like the concept of eating thoughts/ideas...perhaps scents as well? The fine scent of a good bourbon, the scent of a delicious man (or woman..depends on the gender of the dragon..GRIN), the scent of old books....delights for the senses indeed...

I really liked that documentary/fantasy I linked to in my first RE to this post. I figure Dragons as being predominantly carnivorous, being the dominant predator of their given ecosystems. I'd say they would hunt their own meals but if they can steal food from other kills or find carrion, they'd likely eat that as well.

Would a dragon of wisdom's reward "banquet" be a plate of food? Or might it be a "plate" of books/scrolls?

This is an excellent idea.

Your book idea sounds interesting Flea. Good plot. I'd read it. :D

Porkchop...mmmmmm
