Have any of you competed on the platform/with the ruleset that penalize being pushed out of the boundaries?

What is your experience and what pros/cons did you noticed compared to competitions in the cage/ruleset which does not reward pushing someone out?

Thank you!

Raised platforms create an environment where there’s no escape, force you to hold your position. The same concept is also used in other sports that result in a loss if you step out of the designated area. Personally, I find this approach more appealing than both the cage and the ring.

Fighting without a cage or ropes requires heightened awareness of your surroundings. The absence of physical barriers forces you to engage in a white range of tactics and strategies as failing out of the wring could result in a loss.

I used a similar concept to train kung fu grappling techniques.
