As far as I know, the term "haymaker" is quite specifically self describing.
When you use a scythe to cut long grass (to, erm, make hay
) you use a long sweeping motion. That's where the term originated.
So, a haymaker punch is one that uses a long sweeping motion - this can be around the side, under and up (uppercut), over and down (bolo) or any direction really - the qualifying part is the long sweeping motion, somewhat like how one cuts grass with a scythe...
So, the redirect shown in the video in no way qualifies as a haymaker - in fact I'd simply call it a downward block.
